What StatusCake does
StatusCake runs monitoring checks against customer-configured sites, including uptime tests and Page Speed tests. All of its crawls include the keyword "StatusCake" in the user agent, which can be used to identify and filter its requests in analytics tools. Standard uptime checks do not load Google Analytics code and therefore do not appear in GA data, while Page Speed tests have a "Block Trackers" option, enabled by default for new tests, that prevents trackers from loading during the test.
