5. AI Assistant Connectors and API Access
Temso offers an API and connectors that let you link your Temso account to third-party AI assistants and tools, including Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT, Cursor, and other clients that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This section explains how your information is handled when you use them.
Connecting. When an administrator of your organization connects Temso to an AI assistant, you authorize the connection through a sign-in and consent screen. Temso then issues a scoped access credential (an API key) bound to that connection. Access is limited to the projects your account can reach and to the specific read or write permissions granted at connection time. We store these credentials in hashed form and never display them again after creation.
What is accessed and shared. Once connected, the AI assistant can, at your direction, call Temso tools to retrieve your organization's data (for example, brand-visibility analytics, share of voice, sentiment, cited sources, and configuration) and, if write access was granted, to modify your project configuration. When you ask the assistant a question that calls a Temso tool, the tool's results are transmitted to the third-party AI platform you connected (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) so it can respond to you. That platform processes the data under its own privacy policy and terms; we encourage you to review them. Temso does not control, and is not responsible for, how connected third-party platforms use data once it is sent to them at your direction.
Your control. Connecting is optional and initiated by your organization. You can review and revoke any connection at any time in Organization Settings → API Keys in the Temso app. Revoking a connection immediately invalidates its credential, and no further data can be retrieved through it. You can also create and revoke API keys directly there for your own integrations.
Retention. Access credentials remain valid until you revoke them or they expire. Revoked and expired credentials are retained only as needed for security and audit purposes. Data returned to a connected AI platform is retained by that platform according to its own policies, not Temso's.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
