[CITY], [DATE] — [PUBLICATION], [one line describing your publication], has been named a Top Tier Publisher in the [QUARTER] Temso AI Search Rankings. Boilerplate for your release
Paste it at the end so editors have the method in front of them.
About the Temso AI Search Rankings The Temso AI Search Rankings measure which brands, publishers, and social channels appear in answers from the AI search engines people actually use: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot Search, and Grok Search. Temso analyzes close to 10 million AI citations each quarter. For every industry, category, and country it covers, Temso runs a fixed set of localized prompts every day for a full calendar month, issued through each engine's real consumer-facing interface and routed through the relevant country, so the answers match what someone searching in that market would actually see. Publishers are scored on presence: the share of unique answers in a segment that cite them. They are ranked inside their own industry, category, and country rather than against the internet at large. Rankings are recomputed on the 1st of each month over the previous full month, and badges are awarded quarterly. Full methodology: https://www.temso.ai/rankings/methodology
Quotes you can use
A quote from Temso tells the reader the badge was measured, not bought. Use any of these, or email press@temso.ai if you need something different.
“We are an independent third party. We do not sell placement in these rankings, and a badge cannot be bought, sponsored, or negotiated. Every publication that holds one earned it in the measurement.”
— Gerardo Bonilla, Co-founder & CEO, Temso AI
“We built this dataset because nobody was systematically measuring which sources AI search engines actually cite, industry by industry and country by country. It is original research, run continuously, and we analyze close to 10 million AI citations each quarter.”
— Gerardo Bonilla, Co-founder & CEO, Temso AI
“Our methodology is published in full: the engines we query, how the prompts are run, and how presence is calculated. A publisher should be able to point its readers at the method and have it hold up, and that only works if we show our work.”
— Gerardo Bonilla, Co-founder & CEO, Temso AI
“A badge in these rankings reflects how often a publication was cited by AI search engines when readers asked real questions in its field and its market. It is earned in the data, not awarded on the basis of any commercial relationship.”
— Gerardo Bonilla, Co-founder & CEO, Temso AI
What you can and cannot say
Most of this comes down to naming the badge accurately.
Do
- Use the badge name exactly as it appears on your profile, including the quarter.
- Keep the category and country on Top 10 badges. They are part of the award.
- Attribute the result to the Temso AI Search Rankings.
- Link to your Temso profile or to the ranking you appear in.
- Use the badge artwork as provided.
Don’t
- Do not edit the badge artwork: no recoloring, cropping, or changing its text.
- Do not shorten a Top 10 to a #1, or drop the category or country qualifier.
- Do not reuse an older badge without naming the quarter it was earned in.
- Do not describe Temso as endorsing, certifying, or recommending you. The rankings measure citations.
- Do not use the Temso name or logo in your own logo, product name, or domain.
The method behind your badge
Every badge comes out of the same daily measurement across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot Search, and Grok Search, scored on how often a publication is cited in its own industry, category, and country. Placement cannot be bought, and the full method is public.
